Commission approves EUR 71.6 million State aid for tyre manufacturing investment in Hungary
The measure will support Hankook Tire & Technology in establishing a new truck and bus radial tyre production line in the Central Transdanubia region. The project, with a total investment of EUR 538 million, will diversify the company’s existing plant in Fejér County and is expected to create 469 jobs, primarily in manufacturing, contributing to regional economic development.
The Commission assessed the measure under the Regional Aid Guidelines, concluding that it is necessary, appropriate, proportionate and in line with the Hungarian regional aid map, with only limited effects on competition and trade.
