ESA approves amendments to Norwegian support scheme for green industrial projects under CISAF
The scheme has a total budget of NOK 4.1 billion and provides favorable loans to projects that expand manufacturing capacity in clean technologies, reduce emissions, and strengthen European green value chains.
The amended scheme builds on ESA ’s 2024 approval under the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework and will run until 31 December 2030. ESA does not have any objections to its implementation.
CISAF sets out how the 30 EEA States can design State aid measures for clean energy, industrial decarbonisation, and green technologies, while maintaining fair competition across the EEA.
